Elizabeth Budd - E.A. Budd
Elizabeth has always loved stories - reading them and creating them. She is a 2008 graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature and has had stories published in Jakes Magazine, Stories for Children Magazine, Pockets, and Boys' Quest. She and her husband of 31 years have three grown children and two very overgrown cats. In addition to writing, she plays the piano, sings in the worship team at her church, and teaches high school English. Her desire in writing children's books is to "teach by delighting."
Stella Saves the Game
Stella Saves the Game is the delightful tale of Stella, a lightning bug, who helps save a friend from becoming a science project and teaches the other lightning bugs how to keep themselves safe while they play together.

I suspect this book will become a favorite story for many children. Hearing it once will never be enough; it will be read and re-read!! I doubt anyone who hears this story will ever see a lightning bug again without thinking about the sweet, little lightning bug, Stella. The story is very well written and beautifully illustrated. Highly recommend!!

I love this children's book and recommend it for young children thru 2nd grade. I am a second grade teacher. The illustrations are vibrant and made me smile. The story is wholesome and creative. Enjoy.

I thought this book was delightful! Stella is adorable, fun and brave. The story is well written and the illustrations are fantastic; they pop right off the page. My children and husband read it and thought it was wonderful too. I would recommend this book to parents because the message that Stella teaches children, is to help each other and to not give into fear. They worked together as friends to solve their problem. Loved it!!

What a fun book! The author makes you feel as if you are a part of the book and flying around with Stella! My 3 year old absolutely LOVES this book and insists on reading it every night before bed. I look forward to hearing more from this author!
