Attention HPI Author:

Please review our guidelines for you and your illustrator. 

HPI Author will send the entire book including illustrations by FED EX, UPS, or DHL. We do not accept USPS mail. This will protect your copyrighted work and ensure your package was delivered on time using your tracking number provided by the carrier.

Author Check List:

1. Final Manuscript without editorial remarks, about the author and about the book on CD. 
2. Excerpts
3. Updated Author Photo
4. Dedication
5. Illustrator's full name

Please make sure all this information is including on disk and a printed version of the manuscript is included. 

How to submit your illustrations:

1. Please add 1/4 inch to both sides of the illustration. For example: If the book is 8.5 x 8.5 the image size needs to be 8.75 x 8.75. 
2. Images are saved camera-ready as either TIFF or EPS in CMYK color mode. No JPG accepted.
3. To ensure quality reproduction, all graphics and/or images should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi and be camera ready.
4. Save all image files as separate files.
5. Please label each illustration and what page for easy reference.
6. No crop marks
7. (2) disks 1 for author to mail to publisher and 1 for publisher
