Douglas Bartley

With over fifty years’ experience as an international management consultant, Douglas L. Bartley, author of Job Evaluation: Wage & Salary Administration, has now compiled and authored A How-To Manual on Human Resource Problems to assist businesses, large and small, in complicated issues that can arise in day-to-day operational management. His previous book was used as a teaching text in over 250 universities and business schools. He has also been a regular contributor to professional trade journals throughout the United States.

Mr. Bartley holds a BS in education and a master’s in business from the University of Illinois and the University of Pittsburgh, respectively. He has worked for a multitude of companies in need of management improvement throughout the world. His expertise and talents as a consultant in Human Resource Management and Factory Management has been utilized by governmental agencies to oversee thirty-seven corporations in seventeen countries over a span of eight years. Mr. Bartley has also taught at several universities throughout the United States for over seventeen years. Douglas Bartley has received numerous awards for his work and contributions in education.

Mr. Bartley is now enjoying retirement, residing in Elmhurst, Illinois, near his now grown family.
